PERHAPS in response to the intensity of today’s supersized Full Moon, our planetary aspects for the week ahead seem to mostly call for attitude adjustments and a reconfiguration of old thought patterns.

Today’s lunation is called a “supermoon” because it occurs while the Moon is at its closest proximity to the Earth (at perigee). So it is not an optical illusion that this Full Moon looks larger than most — it actually is, according to SpaceWeather.com, “as much as 14% closer and 30% brighter than other Full Moons of the year.”
